LeBron James’ Doubles Down On Boston Take: “I Still Hate Boston, We All Hate Boston Here”

LeBron James and the city of Boston haven’t always seen eye-to-eye. Celtics fans especially have always been hostile towards the superstar – not least because of him often ending the Celtics’ title hopes in the playoffs.

But nonetheless, the four-time NBA Champion became a part-owner of the Boston Red Sox, as he and his longtime friend and business partner Maverick Carter joined Fenway Sports Group as partners.

But even with his business interests in Boston, James isn’t a fan of Celtics fans, to say the least.

While many other NBA players like Bill Russell, Kyrie Irving, or even Jaylen Brown have spoken about the obvious, or sometimes underlying racism of some Celtics fans, LeBron James said he hates Boston, because the fans are ‘racist as f**k’ earlier this year.

Now, James doubled down on his anti-Boston comments during Lakers Media Day.
