Kyrie Irving Told Celtics Fans Why He Couldn’t Trash Talk In Game 2

In Game 1 between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn, the hostility story of Boston fans towards Kyrie Irving got another chapter.

Irving, who played for the Boston Celtics from 2017-2019 before leaving town with some bad blood between him, the franchise and its fans, still is the enemy number one for Celtics fans, even three years later.

Something everybody got to witness in Game 1. Whenever Irving touched the ball, he was met with an orchestra of boos, while also constantly getting trash talked. Kyrie however wasn’t having it and did not hold back himself, flashing his middle finger to the crowd a couple of times during the game.

Irving then was fined $50,000 by the NBA for his actions in Game 1.

In last night’s Game 2 of the series, Kyrie Irving was quiet (on and off the court), and did not interact with Celtics fans.

But why didn’t Kyrie talk back yesterday? Well, it turns out that he doesn’t want to pay another fine.
