JR Smith Furious About NBA Fining Him If He Doesn’t Cover Supreme Tattoo During Games

Game 1 of this year’s NBA Finals was tied with 4.7 seconds left in the 4th quarter, after George Hill missed a potential game-winning free-throw. JR Smith grabbed the offensive rebound, but instead of attempting a game-winning shot, or passing the ball, JR dribbled the ball out of the paint allowing the clock to run out, thinking that the Cavs had the lead. OVERTIME! The Cavaliers eventually lost.

I still can’t get over it. Probably the most memorable NBA moment in the past 5 years. This won’t stop JR from producing more questionable, yet funny headlines. You see, Smith has a Supreme logo tattooed on his calf. This isn’t an endorsement deal, but something Smith wanted for himself. Yes, teammate Channing Frye can’t believe it either.

The NBA now informed JR, that he has to cover up the tattoo when on the court. He is not allowed to show it. Smith was furious about that notice and took his anger to Instagram saying:

“I swear I’m the only person they do shit like this to! So you mean to tell me i have to cover up my tattoo for what? You don’t make people cover up Jordan logos NIKE checks or anything else but because it’s me it’s a problem all of a sudden!!! Shit whack”
