Jaylen Brown Flexes After Dominant Victory Over The Warriors: “It’s Our Time Now”

Sunday night’s matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics felt like a rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals, only this time the Celtics emerged victorious in a dominant performance, crushing the Warriors 140-88.

Jaylen Brown led the charge for the Celtics, dropping 29 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists while shooting 57.9% from the field. Meanwhile, key Warriors players Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green all struggled, failing to even reach double-digit scoring.

The Celtics’ win was so one-sided that it felt like a statement game. This sentiment was confirmed after the game, as Brown took the podium and confidently declared that this time now belongs to the Celtics.

“It feels great, but at the same time it’s always within humility,” Brown said. “At any given point, that could be us and we’re not going to take that for granted. We can’t come out and come around and that’s just how we show respect for the game that we handle our business and take care of it.

“We don’t do it arrogantly, we do it with humility,” he added. “There’s a lot of respect for the Golden State Warriors, but we feel like it’s our time now.”
