Jason Williams Calls Charles Barkley ‘A Loser, Nobody Wanted His Ass On Their Team’

We all love to watch Jason Williams’ old highlight tapes from his days in Sacramento. He was one of the flashiest players the NBA has ever seen. But in a recent interview with dystnow.com, he sounded off. Williams took a swing at Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. Jason was asked in the interview about Kevin Durant’s decision to join the Warriors and his take on Barkley’s critique of KD’s decision to leave Oklahoma City.

“Ah man, you can’t put me on Kevin Durant’s level first and foremost. If I was Kevin Durant and that’s what I wanted to do, then that’s what I would’ve done. I wouldn’t have made a decision based on anybody else. Because it seems like he’s done that for 8 or 9 years now. You know you’ve gotta take care of yourself and make yourself happy at the end of the day. I mean all these guys [Charles] Barkley and them talking about oh they wouldn’t have done it, well they was never free agents back in the day…like they didn’t have the choice. Nobody wanted his ass [Barkley] on their team because he was a loser. So that’s what I think about that.”

In this interview, he also went off on Ben Simmons, who was a guest at “The Tournament” Jason Williams was playing in.

Q:With Ben Simmons being here, how do you feel his passing skills relate to yours?

A: I’m not one to compare man. I got a Championship, that’s all I’m going to say. Good luck with the Sixers getting a Championship.

Maybe he was mad that his team was eliminated, but shots were definitely fired. Just last week Chuck’s former teammate Jayson Williams (another on, with a ‘y’) told his story about Barkley eating McDonald’s breakfast at practice while exercising on a bike and yelling at his teammates. I can’t wait for Charles Barkley to respond.
