Jason Terry Reveals That Today’s Kids Only Remember Him For Being Posterized By LeBron James

In 2011, the Dallas Mavericks went on to beat the hotly favored Miami Heat 4-2 in the NBA Finals. It was the best possible redemtion for Terry and Nowitzki, the only two remaining Mavericks players that lost to the Heat in the 2006 Finals in an unfortunate manner.

During the entire 2011 playoffs, Jason Terry played his best basketball and was the Mavs’ second best player.

Two years later, in 2013, LeBron James got some kind of payback when he viciously posterized Jason Terry. It was one of the best and most memorable dunks in the modern era.

Now, 8 years later, Terry revealed how today’s kids only remember him for being dunked on, and not his actual achievements, and even approach him asking about how it felt to be posterized.

“Every camp, every clinic in and around America I go and talk to kids, they don’t ask like, ‘How did it feel to play 19 years? How did it feel to play with Dirk  or win a championship?… How did it feel for LeBron to dunk on you like that?’ Like, come on, man. Get out of here.”
