Giannis Antetokounmpo Refers To Michael Jordan When Talking About His Playoff Struggles

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have walked through the regular season as the best team in the NBA in the past two years. Unfortunately, the Bucks haven’t been able to replicate their regular season performances in the playoffs, yet.

Following the conclusion of their disappointing 2020 NBA season, the Bucks responded strongly by adding a high-caliber two-way player in Jrue Holiday, who is dubbed to become a reliable option alongside Giannis in the upcoming NBA season. The Bucks also locked up Giannis for five more years, confident that they can build a championship team going forward.

The question whether the Bucks could take home a championship is up in the air, but the ‘The Greek Freak’ knows it’s going to take time. On SiriusXM NBA Radio, Giannis mentioned that he needs to experience several adversities before he could secure his long-sought reward just like how Michael Jordan experienced in his playing days.

“I’m one of the most realistic people. You got to hurt. You got to hurt to get it.

One of the greatest players, Michael Jordan, and his team, he got to the playoffs and he got he got hurt. He got eliminated, he was disappointed. He went through the struggles. It’s going to take time.”
