Frustrated Kristaps Porzingis Skips Meetings With Knicks Management

The New York Knicks are a pile of shards, a complete mess. It’s only fitting that the Madison Square Garden is basically on Broadway, and I guarantee you that you won’t find more drama anywhere else. First, Carmelo Anthony and Phil Jackson’s little war continued, now even the Knicks’ only hope for a brighter future, Kristaps Porzingis, seems to be fed up with all the drama and shenanigans, too.

He’s mad enough, to have skipped his exit meeting with the team.

“Kristaps Porzingis skipped exit meetings with New York Knicks management due to frustration over what he perceives as the dysfunction and drama surrounding the organization, team sources told ESPN.com….

Porzingis, according to team sources, is frustrated with the lack of direction with the team, which is headed by team president Phil Jackson.”

That’s what ESPN’s Ian Bergley reported earlier.

The Knicks’ president of basketball operations, Phil Jackson was asked if  a trade of Porzingis, is “off the table” this offseason, and he responded:

“Everything has got to be possible, and we have to make sure that if people have something to say, we listen to it, we examine it.”

But Kristaps Porzingis will almost certainly stay with the Knicks next year, and possibly for the next 8 to 10 years. The Knicks would be stupid to not offer him a max extension after his rookie contract ends, and Porzingis would most likely sign that contract. Well, as long as the Knicks will finally start to get their sh*t together.
