Former NBA Player And Coach Sam Mitchell Compares Luka Doncic To Three NBA Legends 

The Dallas Mavericks avoided going into a 3-0 hole against the Phoenix Suns as Doncic went off for 26 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists on 44.0% shooting from the field. Not the best game to say the least, but Doncic did what he had to do and gave the Mavericks a glimmer hope to win the series.

Following leading his team to a victory over the Suns in Game 3 of their best-of-seven playoff series, former NBA player and coach of the year Sam Mitchell had nothing but great things to say about the 23-year old Mavericks superstar. 

Appearing on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Mitchell was beyond impressed with Doncic’s offensive talent that he reaffirmed how much Doncic compares to numerous all-time greats such as Karl Malone, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

“Luka is built more like Karl Malone, plays like Magic [Johnson], but has the touch and finesse of Larry Bird,” Mitchell said, per SiriusXM NBA Radio.
