Former LeBron James Teammate Believes Lakers Have No Shot At Winning Championship This Season

The Los Angeles Lakers remain one of the most intriguing teams in the NBA. With LeBron James still leading the way and their recent Western Conference Finals appearance fresh in everyone’s mind, all eyes are still on them.

As things stand, the Lakers are focused on finding consistency and getting healthy as they push their way towards the playoffs. Their situation isn’t as bad as it could be, with the team currently holding the 9th seed in the Western Conference.

With so much discussion surrounding the Lakers, a big question that needs to be addressed is whether the Lakers have what it takes to win a championship this season. Channing Frye, LeBron’s former teammate, took this question upon himself, expressing skepticism about the team’s championship chances.

“With the Lakers?” Frye said when asked about Los Angeles’ chances of winning it all. “No, that’s a zero. That’s a zero. That is a zero, good try. I love you guys. I mean, put it this way. If we stop right now, who they playing in the play-in? The [Golden State] Warriors? That’s a 50-50 chance right there.”
