Everything’s In Line For Ja Morant To Make His Comeback On Tuesday

In June, the NBA revealed via a press release, that Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Ja Morant will face a 25-game suspension, for once again wielding a firearm on social media.

The NBA also stated that his return to action is connected to certain requirements. Now, the man in question, is about to make his comeback.

Tonight’s game in Oklahoma City, will be Memphis’ 25th game of the season, and also the last game of Morant’s suspensions. So when the Grizzlies play the Pelicans on Tuesday, Morant is expected to play.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will reportedly have a 1-on-1 meeting with Morant, but Silver already revealed that has “complied with everything he’s been asked to do” during the program the star point-guard had to participate in as part of his suspension.

The Grizzlies are 6-18, so they’ll need Morant at his best right away if they’re going to get back into the playoff race.

Coach Taylor Jenkins said Morant has been “unbelievable” working to be ready the moment his suspension ends.

“I expect him to be full go come Game 26,” Jenkins said. “He’s really excited. He understands the process that’s gotten him here.”
