Dwyane Wade’s Totally Outsmarted the System With His Outfit on Chicago’s Bench

Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade’s season was shortened because of an elbow fracture, but he’s still going hard in the paint… with his outfits.

In Wednesday’s 117-95 blowout victory over Detroit, the focus wasn’t on Chicago’s tremendous effort, scratching tooth-and-nail to win every game to snatch a playoff spot, but Dwyane Wade’s Tony Montana-like outfit on the bench. Cameras were on him showing it off from all angles, and fans had a field day on social media making hilarious comments about it.

The NBA’s 2005 “business casual” dress code allows players to wear a sportcoat on the bench when they are not in uniform. “Chains, pendants, or medallions worn over a player’s clothes” are not permitted.

Well, Dwyane Wade outsmarted the system—his low cut undershirt allows his chain to never reach clothe, and the short-sleeved sport coat… hey, be you, D-Wade.
