Brooks is currently averaging 15.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game on 59.0% shooting from the field in his first four games with the Rockets. However, this performance has not exactly translated into wins, as the Rockets have started the season with a 1-3 record.

Considering the situation, Yossi Gozlan of HoopsHype sees Brooks as a potential trade candidate for the Philadelphia 76ers, who are reshuffling their roster after trading James Harden and are believed to be exploring other options to complement reigning MVP Joel Embiid.

“If the Rockets are unable to reach expectation as we get closer to the trade deadline, that could spark some changes to the roster. They’ll likely first look to see how they could improve the roster with a package of draft picks and expiring contracts. Brooks would be a great fit on the Sixers, who could use an All-Defensive perimeter defender like him.”
