Ben Simmons Shows Off His Skills, Works Out With LeBron James In Los Angeles

With the NBA set to return next month, some players are dusting off their bags, picking up their in-game shape and are loading up ready to hit the court.

Klutch Sports’ clients LeBron James and Ben Simmons are ensuring they don’t get left behind. James and Simmons were participating in open court runs held by Klutch Sports in Los Angeles.

In a separate workout, Simmons could be seen showcasing his skills with a series of dunks in an Instagram video posted by trainer Chris Johnson. Simmons is looking healthy and in good shape.

If there was a bright side to the hiatus, it is that injured players were given a chance to heal and rehab without missing pivotal games of the season. Simmons was one of the players who benefited from the incident. The Philadelphia 76ers point guard missed a chunk of time due to a back injury and only played one game after the All-Star break.

Simmons’ health will be a huge factor for the Sixers in the upcoming NBA restart. Before the hiatus, the 23-year old All-Star was averaging 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game on 58.5% shooting from the field. The Sixers are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference with 39 wins.

Meanwhile, James and the Los Angeles Lakers have been looking like the team to beat and are emerging as a legitimate front-runner to win the championship alongside their local rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers. James has been taking up societal issues amid the hiatus, but the King is ready to go full throttle once training camp begins in July.
