Allen Iverson Compares Jayson Tatum To Kobe Bryant, Tatum Reacts

It’s not too hard to be impressed with Jayson Tatum. His confidence and competitive edge only keep on getting better, while his fundamentally sound game and absurd shot-making often draw comparisons to that of an all-time great, and tend to leave basketball fans astounded.

In an episode of the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes from last year, Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson heaped praises to the Boston Celtics All-Star swingman by comparing him to basketball icon Kobe Bryant.

“Jayson Tatum, Dawg! Dawg!” said the former Philadelphia 76ers superstar. “He got a lot of Kobe in him too,” Stephen Jackson responded. “Yeah, you could tell. You could tell he was working with Kobe,” Iverson agreed.

The clip of the aforementioned conversation made rounds on the internet after eventually reaching Tatum himself. On Tuesday, Tatum finally reacted and reciprocated the respect that he received from Iverson.
