The NBA has announced its 2026 All-Summer League First Team, and the group offers an exciting snapshot of the league’s next generation.
Cameron Boozer, Brayden Burries, Yaxel Lendeborg, Meleek Thomas and Caleb Wilson earned First-Team honors after emerging as five of the most consistent and entertaining performers in Las Vegas.
Boozer helped carry Memphis into the championship game with his polished interior scoring, rebounding and composure. Lendeborg finished the event in even more memorable fashion, leading Golden State to the Summer League title and earning championship-game MVP honors after recording 21 points and 10 rebounds in the final.
Wilson produced one of the tournament’s biggest individual performances with a 35-point debut, while Thomas announced himself with a 35-point outing of his own for Cleveland. Burries also strengthened his reputation as an aggressive scorer and late-game threat during an impressive run with Milwaukee.
Summer League success is never a guarantee of NBA stardom, but this group showed far more than empty July statistics. Each player offered a glimpse of a skill that could translate immediately—whether it was Boozer’s control, Burries’ scoring, Lendeborg’s versatility, Thomas’ shot-making or Wilson’s explosiveness.
Las Vegas is supposed to introduce fans to the future.
