Draymond Green’s Prank-Show Blowup Delivers The Kind Of Comedy Only He Could Create

Draymond Green has built a career on confrontation, edge, and a complete refusal to back down, which is precisely why his appearance on Anthony Davis’ new prank show landed so well.

In a clip released ahead of the premiere of Foul Play with Anthony Davis, Green is drawn into a staged business meeting that quickly spirals into absurdity, with Davis and LeBron James helping orchestrate the setup behind the scenes. The result is exactly what viewers might have expected from Green in an increasingly hostile fake negotiation: suspicion, irritation, and eventually a full-throated eruption that turned the segment into instant social-media currency.

The prank centers on a fake investment pitch involving a fictional company and a bizarre business concept, with actors pushing Green deeper into an obviously uncomfortable exchange. Green finally snapped with,

“Number one, you guys should stop yelling. I’m a grown ass man,” before escalating to, “Alright, I’mma leave here or I will f— you up.”

That authenticity is what makes the segment funny rather than forced. The show is an unscripted hidden-camera comedy series created by Davis, with help from the team behind Impractical Jokers, and that LeBron James had long wanted a chance to prank Green on television.

There is also a layer of self-awareness that gives the whole thing extra lift. Green says during the reveal,

“These people already think I’m a monster. When they see this, they really gonna think I’m a monster.”

Green’s reputation is so established that even in a prank setting, his anger feels instantly believable. It is not just that Draymond got mad. It is that Draymond got pranked in the most Draymond way possible.
