Should The Warriors Reset By Trading Stephen Curry For LaMelo Ball?

There is a lot of noise surrounding the Golden State Warriors right now, and almost none of it has helped. The results reflect it, with the team stuck at 15-15 and sitting in the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

Golden State is not dead in the playoff race, but they are also not moving like one of the top contenders in the West. If the uncertainty continues, the organization could face difficult conversations about its future and how far it is willing to go to reset, even if that means trading franchise centerpiece Stephen Curry.

NBA analyst Bill Simmons recently floated that idea. The Warriors are getting older and are not winning as much anymore. That raises the question of whether they should move Curry to his hometown, Charlotte, and get a younger star like LaMelo Ball in return.

“I don’t think this Warriors team has any chance. We just saw Draymond blow up last night. Can we just do LaMelo and a bunch of picks, send Curry back to Charlotte, and let’s just go?”
