The rumor mill is heating up, and among the notable names involved are Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Memphis’ Ja Morant, two players who could easily raise a team’s ceiling.
They are there for very different reasons. Giannis is seen as a star assessing his ability to keep winning, while Morant is dealing with the reality that his stock in Memphis does not feel as secure as it once did following his regression.
Landing spots for the two of them continue to be observed and discussed around the league. But if you ask former NBA point guard Jason Williams, he sees the two ending up with the Miami Heat.
“I think [Antetokounmpo] and Ja Morant are going to end up in Miami,” Williams said. “I’m not sure how it works, Pat Riley gets it done.”
