He scored 31 points in the second half, including the game-winning free throws with 6 seconds left, securing Golden State’s first NBA Cup victory and improving their record to 8–6 overall, 1–1 in Cup play.

This marked Curry’s second consecutive 40+ point game, a feat he hadn’t achieved since November 2022. He also became just the second player in NBA history to record back-to-back 45+ point games after turning 35, joining Michael Jordan.
“Steph was brilliant again,” said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. “These games felt like playoff battles.”
