Shai Gilgeous-Alexander not only was this year’s NBA Finals MVP, but has also been named GQ’s Most Stylish Man. He walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week, and turned the pregame tunnel into his personal runway. But behind the designer fits and fashion accolades lies a surprisingly humble, and uniquely team-oriented ritual: every year before the season begins, SGA holds a garage sale for his teammates.

Yes, a garage sale.

In a recent interview, Gilgeous-Alexander revealed that he clears out his overflowing wardrobe at the start of each season and invites his Thunder teammates to shop his closet.

“A lot of my clothing, I do like a garage sale at the beginning of the season for the last couple of years,” he explained. “They come and buy clothes. I don’t charge them too much… I keep the prices low.”
