But behind the designer fits and fashion accolades lies a surprisingly humble, and uniquely team-oriented ritual: every year before the season begins, SGA holds a garage sale for his teammates.
Yes, a garage sale.
In a recent interview, Gilgeous-Alexander revealed that he clears out his overflowing wardrobe at the start of each season and invites his Thunder teammates to shop his closet.
“A lot of my clothing, I do like a garage sale at the beginning of the season for the last couple of years,” he explained. “They come and buy clothes. I don’t charge them too much… I keep the prices low.”
