The Knicks did not just sweep the Sixers. Their fans sent a thank-you bouquet on the way out.
After New York’s Game 4 win in Philadelphia, 6abc reporter Cheyenne Corin went viral when her live segment from Xfinity Mobile Arena was overrun by celebrating Knicks fans. It was loud, chaotic and deeply New York: a road crowd turning a Philadelphia postgame report into a mini Madison Square Garden block party. Corin handled it professionally, stayed composed, and later explained the whole scene had been in good fun.

Then came the flowers.
Knicks fans anonymously sent Corin a bouquet with a note that read:
“You handled that like a New Yorker… come to the winning team, signed Knicks in four.”
Corin shared the gesture on social media, joking that she probably should throw the flowers away but would accept them as a peace offering. She also made clear she was not switching sides.
Knicks fans are diabolical! 😂 They sent flowers to the Philly news reporter who’s segment was taken over. The note said:
“You handled that like a New Yorker.. come to the winning team.
-Knicks In 4”This is what happens when you have 7+ rest days 😭

It was the perfect little epilogue to a series that felt like a hostile takeover. The Knicks swept Philadelphia, won Game 4 by 30 points, and watched their fans invade enemy territory loudly enough to become part of the story. The Sixers’ season ended. The Knicks moved on. And somehow, a local reporter became the unlikely star of the aftermath.
That is playoff basketball at its funniest: pride, pain, petty notes and flowers delivered with a broom still leaning against the door.
