It’s widely accepted that Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter ever, but the debate quickly opens up once you start asking who belongs in that No. 2 spot.
After Curry, things get complicated quickly. Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Larry Bird, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, and Klay Thompson all get mentioned. Still, if you ask former NBA guard Jeff Teague, Damian Lillard stands above the rest.
Lillard has long shown his ability to knock down threes and shoot from anywhere, and he reminded everyone again at the recent All-Star 3-point contest, winning it for the third time. That alone helped lead Teague to make a bold claim.
