Rumors are flying high as the NBA gears toward trade season, and one of the hottest commodities currently is Dallas Mavericks big man Anthony Davis.
As it’s clear now, Dallas received Davis in the Luka Doncic trade, and it just has not gone well. Not only is the man behind that shocking deal no longer with the team, but Davis has also been unavailable most of the time due to injuries.
Many around the NBA expect Davis could be on his way out of Dallas, but Kendrick Perkins is pushing the idea even further. Should Dallas decide to trade Davis, Perkins suggests the franchise also consider moving Kyrie Irving, who has yet to appear in a game this season.
“I’m not just considering trading Anthony Davis, I’m trading the 33-year-old Kyrie Irving too. If you’re talking about rebuilding, then rebuild.”
