Fox 32 Chicago sports anchor Lou Canellis said on 670 The Score that Giannis Antetokounmpo’s representatives reached out to the Chicago Bulls about a potential deal, and the Bulls declined, unwilling to break up their young core or change their direction.

“Giannis and his representatives reached out to the Bulls about a potential deal, and the Bulls said they weren’t interested. They were not interested in breaking up their young core or changing their course of direction,” Canellis said.

Canellis’ comments were aired during the Mully & Haugh morning show on 670 The Score and quickly circulated through Chicago, emphasizing both the magnitude of the player involved and the Bulls’ stated commitment to their developmental path.
