During the Charlotte Hornets’ visit to rookie Kon Knueppel’s family home, one of Knueppel’s younger brothers attempted a “poster” dunk over LaMelo Ball.
The Hornets’ stopover wasn’t a typical team dinner. Prompted by a casual text from Knueppel’s mother, the visit turned into a warm, communal night featuring a tour of the family’s “man cave” and an enormous homemade spread, about 25 pounds of fajitas.

Amid the laughter, a short video of the playful dunk attempt over LaMelo Ball became the standout moment from the evening.
That visit preceded a breakout performance for Knueppel: he scored a career‑high 32 points the following night.
Kon is the eldest of five brothers, all with “K” names: Kager, Kinston, Kash, and Kid… and all of them hoop. Their collective presence has been a consistent part of Kon’s public journey, from the NBA Draft night where they drew attention to their family tradition, to moments like this one at home.
