Nikola Jokic delivered one of the most dominant performances of his career Wednesday night, scoring 55 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 130–116 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome.

The three-time MVP tied the NBA season high for points in a game, matching Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 55-point outing from October 23.

Jokic finished the night shooting 18-of-23 from the field, including 5-of-6 from three-point range, and 14-of-16 from the free throw line while adding 12 rebounds and 6 assists.

@opencourtNikola Jokic was absolutely INSANE against the Clippers, finishing with 55 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists while shooting 18/23 from the field, 5/6 from three and 14/16 from the line. DOUBLE NICKLE 🔥

Denver improved to 9–2 on the season, extending their win streak to six games. The Clippers, playing without Kawhi Leonard, fell to 3–8.

The Nuggets shot 58% from the field and 42% from three, while holding the Clippers to just 45% shooting overall.

Jokic’s 55-point outing is the second-highest of his career, behind only his 60-point triple-double against the Spurs in 2023. It also marks the highest-scoring game by a center this season, and the most efficient 50+ point performance in recent memory.
