Former NBA players Marcus and Markieff Morris have reignited tensions with Nikola Jokic’s brothers, boldly claiming on their podcast that a fight between the two sets of siblings would be a “landslide” victory… for the Morris twins.
The comments, made during a recent episode of Morris Code, have sparked widespread backlash and disbelief across the NBA community. During a livestream, Marcus Morris Sr. declared:
“I’m 6’8, 280… these big-chested MFers can’t move. I’ll punch both of these n***as in their chest… I’m putting hands on them n***as easy. Like, it ain’t even a question… it’s a landslide.”
The Morris Twins said it’ll be a ‘landslide’ if they had the opportunity to fight the Jokic brothers 😳

The twins, known for their physical style of play and confrontational demeanor, were responding to a fan question about how a hypothetical fight with Jokic’s older brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, would unfold.
While the Morris twins are imposing athletes, fans and analysts were quick to point out that the Jokic brothers are not your average NBA siblings. Both Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic are former MMA practitioners, trained in boxing and grappling disciplines, and are known for their intimidating presence and loyalty to Nikola Jokic
Strahinja, in particular, has a history of confrontations and was once investigated for a violent incident in Serbia. Their physical statures, at 6’8”, with backgrounds in combat sports, makes them great opponents in any setting.
“The Jokic brothers are absolute units,” one fan posted. “You don’t want that smoke.”
The tension between the Morris and Jokic families dates back to November 2021, when Nikola Jokic shoved Markieff Morris during a game against the Miami Heat. The incident led to a suspension for Jokic and a months-long war of words between the families, including threats exchanged on social media.
While things had cooled in recent years, the Morris twins’ latest comments risk reigniting the feud. NBA fans were quick to roast the twins online:
“They’re talking like it’s WWE. Jokic’s brothers are real fighters.”
“This ain’t a basketball court. It’s a cage match, and they’d get folded.”
Whether this feud re-escalates or fizzles out remains to be seen, but if it ever came to blows, most observers believe the “landslide” would go in the opposite direction.
