Draymond Green Not On Board With Nico Harrison Firing

Last season, Nico Harrison made arguably the most surprising and indefensible front-office call in recent memory, trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis. It didn’t take long for that decision to end his tenure.

It’s been clear since the Luka trade that Harrison’s seat was heating up. A 3-8 start and another Davis injury only accelerated the process. Fans got what they expected, but not everyone thought it was the right call, including Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green.

On his podcast, Draymond Green pushed back on the decision. He reminded fans that it might have been too early to judge, since Dallas never got to see the roster Harrison built, with Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, and Cooper Flagg yet to play together this season.

“Y’all just want to go point the finger at Nico because that was a storyline…That is whack to me.”
