The NBA has officially unveiled its 2025–26 regular season schedule, and four franchises stand out above the rest when it comes to national exposure: the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Golden State Warriors will each appear in a league-high 34 nationally televised or streamed games this season.

This marks a significant moment in the league’s media evolution, as the NBA enters the first year of its new $76 billion broadcast deal with Disney (ABC/ESPN), NBCUniversal (NBC/Peacock), and Amazon (Prime Video). With 247 national games scheduled, up from 172 last season, fans will have more access than ever to marquee matchups across multiple platforms.
The season tips off on Tuesday, October 21, with a doubleheader on NBC and Peacock. The defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Houston Rockets, featuring Kevin Durant’s return to OKC. Later that night, LeBron James and the Lakers face off against Stephen Curry and the Warriors in what will be the 57th meeting between the two icons.

Christmas Day will feature five nationally televised games, including appearances by the Lakers, Knicks, and Warriors. The league also announced three Global Games: in Mexico City (Peacock), Berlin, and London (Prime Video), further expanding its international footprint.
The Emirates NBA Cup returns with group play beginning October 31 and culminating in a championship game on December 16 in Las Vegas. The SoFi Play-In Tournament will stream exclusively on Prime Video from April 14–17.
