NBA sharpshooter Seth Curry recently shared a hilariously uncomfortable moment from his playing career, one that involved his brother Stephen Curry, longtime Warriors teammate Draymond Green, and a dose of ruthless trash talk.
Speaking on The Greatest of Their Era podcast, Seth recounted a game against the Golden State Warriors where he exchanged words with Green after drawing a foul. As Seth stepped to the free-throw line, Draymond didn’t hold back.
“I say something to him, and he’s like, ‘Why you talking? You a journeyman. You’ve been on every team in the league,’” Seth recalled. “And it was really funny because Steph was right there. It was kinda awkward.”

Green’s jab, while typical of his fiery on-court persona, hit a little differently with Stephen Curry, Seth’s older brother and Draymond’s longtime teammate, standing just feet away. The moment, Seth admitted, was more personal than usual, but he didn’t take offense.
“That’s a badge of honor for me,” Seth said. “You know how many guys been on two teams and out of the league? I’d rather be on eight, nine teams, have a 12-year career than be one and done.”
Seth has played for nine teams over 11 seasons, carving out a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable shooters. While he hasn’t reached the superstar heights of his brother, he’s proud of his journey, and unfazed by Green’s trash talk.
Draymond, known for his verbal firepower, later responded with affection on social media:
“It’s all love, S Dot! You be trying to go at my mans,” he wrote, referencing Steph.
