Jalen Brunson is trading hardwood for headlocks—at least virtually. The New York Knicks point guard has officially been announced as a playable character in WWE 2K25, joining the game’s upcoming Dunk & Destruction Pack, set to release on June 25.
Brunson becomes the latest NBA star to step into the squared circle, joining Shaquille O’Neal and Tyrese Haliburton in the crossover DLC. The pack also includes wrestling legends Abyss and The Great Khali, making it one of the most eclectic rosters in WWE 2K history.
Brunson’s in-game entrance has already made waves online. Decked out in a custom WWE tee, he struts to the ring with his signature three-point celebration, triggering fireworks and hyping up the crowd. It’s a fitting tribute to a player who’s become one of the NBA’s most electrifying guards—and now, one of its most unexpected wrestling crossovers.
This isn’t Brunson’s first brush with WWE. He made a surprise appearance on SmackDown at Madison Square Garden in July 2024, where he had a brief on-screen confrontation with Haliburton, teasing the rivalry that now carries over into the game.
The Dunk & Destruction Pack is part of WWE 2K25’s broader push to blend pop culture and sports, giving fans a chance to pit their favorite athletes against wrestling icons. With Brunson and Haliburton representing the Knicks-Pacers rivalry in a new arena, fans can now settle scores in the ring as well as on the court.
