The Inside the NBA on TNT crew simply is the best when it comes to basketball shows on TV. The dynamic between Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith is unmatched, and you always have the feeling of watching four best friends talk about basketball while constantly making fun of each other.
Yesterday, Charles Barkley surprised Ernie Johnson with his induction into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame during a live taping of Charles Barkley Foundation’s ‘The Match’, a golf tournament that featured Barkley, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and other celebrities.
Johnson’s induction into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame is a well-deserved honor. He has been a fixture on television for 34 years, and he has helped to shape the way that sports are presented on television. He is a respected journalist, a gifted broadcaster, and a true pioneer in the field of sports broadcasting.
“Get out of here,” Johnson said. “Chuckster, what are you talking about? … That is awesome. Thank you so much. … I am humbled beyond words. Thank you so much, it means the world to me.”
