Donovan Mitchell Will Join The Utah Jazz For Upcoming Road Trips Following Plane Incident
Yesterday, we reported that the main question remaining from the Utah Jazz’s plane incident, was Donovan Mitchell’s status for following road trips.
Mitchell already had a significant fear of flying, and after these scary moments in the sky, no-one knew about the status of the All-Star’s willingness to fly anymore.
But thankfully, it won’t come to another Royce White type situation, as Mitchell now spoke about the incident for the first time, revealing that he’ll be professional about it and join the team for their road trip on Sunday.
“I immediately got scared as shit because I hate flying in general, and it didn’t sound good. … I immediately texted my mom, my sister, my dad just kind of saying like, ‘Yo, this, this could be it’…
I have a job to do. I understand that that comes with the job and I took the time that I needed to kind of just mentally get myself in a good place. I’ll be fine come Sunday.”
