Markelle Fultz Wants To Win MVP In Rookie Season

Wilt Chamberlain in the 1959–1960 season, Wes Unseld in the 1968–1969 season and Markelle Fultz in the 2017-2018 season?

According to number one draft pick, Markelle Fultz, that would be his plan. A little explanation: Wilt Chamberlain and Wes Unseld are the only two players in NBA history, who won the MVP title in their rookie year.

His other dream, the dream of becoming a number one draft pick already cam true, but I doubt that he will reach his second goal.

“No. 1 is big for me because I’ve been dreaming about it all my life. I want to come in and kill it. I want to be rookie of the year. Honestly, me? I want to be MVP next year.”

That’s what Fultz said in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

In his only college season at Washington, Fultz averaged 23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
