The LeBron the Cavs would need right now – LeBron James 2014 Finals Game 2 at Spurs – 35 Pts, 10 Rebs

Even though LeBron James was the Cavaliers’ best player throughout the first two games of the Finals, he was underperforming as well.  So far in these Finals, Lebron is averaging, a in his case mediocre, 21.0 PPG, 10.0 REB and 9.0 AST (For most players, this would be the best two game stretch of their careers, but we’re talking about LeBron), while only shooting 42.1% from the field and 33.3% from three. Comparing these stats to his last two Finals perfromances, you can see that he indeed is underperforming.

In the 2014 Finals, he averaged:  28.2 PPG, 7.8 REB and 4.0 AST while shooting 57.1% from the field and 51.9% from three.

In the 2015 Finals, he averaged: 35.8 PPG, 13.3 REB and 8.8 AST while also shooting poorly in the 30% range.

Knowing LeBron, his amibtion and his drive, you know that he will strike back in game 3.
