After Recruitment Attempt, LeBron James Said He Won’t Play For The Steelers Due To The Outfit

Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has started his campaign to recruit LeBron James:

Announcing my official campaign to recruit @KingJames to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2018 season. LeBron has done everything in the NBA. He can be the best athlete EVER if he makes the move to the NFL and wins a Super Bowl with Steeler Nation…

LeBron hasn’t played any organized football since his junior year in high school. But, LeBron was a great high school player, good enough to be an All-State player in his sophomore year. He even got recruited by Urban Meyer, who at that time, was the wide receivers coach at Notre Dame. But James now said that he saw photoshops of himself in a Steelers uniform, wasn’t a fan of the look, and shut down JuJu’s attempt:

“Nah, I’m fine. I’m fine with my sport I got. It’s pretty funny, though. I seen some of the edits that they had of me in the Steelers uniform, but I like tank tops and shorts, I’m sorry. I’ve tried the shoulder pads, and it was fun while it lasted, but I’m a tank top and shorts guy.”
