LaVar Ball Threatened ‘The Herd’ Host Kristine Leahy

Not a single day goes by without LaVar Ball being a hot topic when talking basketball.

This time, Ball was guest on Fox Sports ‘The Herd’ and threatend co-host Kristine Leahy, after she was trying to bring up criticisms against him and his ‘Big Baller Brand’, but Ball didn’t want to hear from her.

Throughout the whole show, LaVar Ball was completely disrespectful to Leahy telling her to “stay in her lane”, which probably had to do with her talking about how he treats his children. This may be the first time I’m taking LaVar’s side though.

After Ball took a shot at Jason Whitlock saying “he can’t comment on anything but snacks.” Leahy asked Ball if he disrespected people for their weight, and added if he also disrespected women. Ball ignored her once again, saying that he won’t talk to her nor look her in the eye, because she is a hater and she scares him to death. When she fired back, Ball threatened Leahy saying:

“I never disrespect women. But I’ll tell you what, if you act like that, guess what? Something’s coming to you, and it’s okay.”

After the show, Leahy was on FS1’s ‘Speak For Yourself ‘ and responded to Ball’s behavior and statements.

“LaVar Ball has every right to disagree with anything that I say, anything that any of us say. I really enjoy debate. I just like it to be respectful. You and I debate, we debate all the time. It’s what we do here. But we do it in a respectful way. We don’t threaten each other. We don’t dismiss each other. We look each other in the eye. We don’t make personal attacks about weight. So he was upset at me for what I said there, and that’s completely fine. But you can’t come at me and disrespect me and not look me in the eye and threaten me. That’s just not okay.”

To be fair, I think that she twisted LaVar Ball’s words and went after him and his family before. I won’t be too defensive of Leahy. She commented about how Ball treats his children and she deserves to be critiziced by Ball, but he certainly should have done it in a different less hostile way.
