LaVar Ball Still Believes That His Son Is Better Than Stephen Curry

Encouraged by his coach Luke Walton, who told him that he will be one of the best point guards in the league, Lonzo Ball had one of his best games of the season with 15 points and 10 assists, against the Golden State Warriors. It was his first game against two-time MVP Stephen Curry, who finished with 28 points and seven assists.

Prior to the game, Lonzo’s father, LaVar Ball, was interviewed and made it known that he still believes that his son is better than Stephen Curry.

According to LaVar, that won’t change even if Steph becomes a 10-time MVP.

“Until I die, I will always think of my son as better than Steph Curry…Always.”

So far, Lonzo Ball has impressed with his 7.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game, but also dissapointed with his productivity as he is only averaging 9.0 points per game on 31.5% shooting from the field, 25.7 from three and 46.7% from the line.

While it is great to have parents who believe in you, it can also harm your development when people around you aren’t criticizing you enough.
