Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers says their city rivals–the Los Angeles Lakers–are a fun team to watch. A mix of youth and veterans for the Lakers managed to put up some interesting performances this season, including their Christmas Day win over the Clippers.

It’s not only about the Lakers players, as the credit should be given as well to their head coach, Luke Walton, who is trying to implement some interesting play styles to the team. Walton, an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors from 2014-2016, was in a great position to gain some knowledge about running the offense.

‘They’re fun to watch. They really are. They move the ball. They get the ball up the floor. They attack. They’re playing with more freedom. They’re playing with more joy, quite honestly,” said Rivers before the game versus Lakers on Sunday.
”Visually, that’s what you see. You saw it more earlier, but even in this tough stretch, they’ve been in most of the games, so they’re fun to watch. They really are. I love watching young guys grow and you can see the growth,” Rivers finished.

The young guns of the Los Angeles Lakers took out the Clippers 111-102 on Christmas Day. No one expected it, as the Clippers remain one of the best teams in the league.
