Kobe Bryant Surprised 6-Year-Old With Epilepsy

Basketball is more than just a game. This is awesome. Kobe Bryant surprised a young fan on ‘The View’ and gave Bryson Thompson, a young boy who suffers from epilepsy, a signed jersey.

Thompson and his older brother, who came up with the idea to auction off signed sports memorabilia with a fundraiser called ‘Helmerts4Helmets’ to help the nonprofit organization ‘Jack’s Helping Hand’ that has supported his brother, were in tears of joy and couldn’t believe to see their idol. Kobe Bryant was moved too and said:

“We all have a responsibility to each other, to help one another. If you have the opportunity to do that, it’s our responsibility as people to help one another. It’s as simple as that.”
