John Wall Signs Contract Extension, Guarantees Championship

John Wall was the number one draft pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. To this day, he still plays for the team that drafted him – the Washington Wizards. It looks like that the Wall-D.C combo will add four more years to the seven years they’ve already been together.

Yesterday, the four-time All Star agreed to a four-year, $170 million contract extension with the Wizards.

Wall officially announced re-signing with Washington in a video for UNINTERRUPTED, in which he also guarantees that he will bring a championship to D.C.

“What up people, this John Wall, just checking in, letting ya’ll know ya’ll know I wasn’t going nowhere. Re-signed with the Wizards, singed my extension, you know where I wanna be. I love being in D.C. I love the organization. I love my teammates. I love the amazing fans. I just had to think it out with my family and friends, and made the decision. Ya’ll know where I wanna be at. I’m happy I’m coming back another four years to be a Washington Wizard. Ya’ll know what I’m going for. Definitely gonna bring ya’ll that championship. That’s my ultimate goal, and I’m not gonna stop till I get it. Peace. Love.”
