Gregg Popovich Is Back To One Word Replies In Press Conferences

The man, the myth, the legend!

During the post game press conference following the Spurs’ Game 3 loss against the Warriors, Gregg Popovich was back to giving the ‘most Popovich’ answers again. Popovich isn’t a fan of talking to the media before, during or after games (or ever), but after losing three games straight, something that did not happen very often during his Spurs career, he was extra curt.

A reporter asked Popovich what his thoughts on Aldridge’s Game 3 performance:

 

“Considering the way the Warriors defended him and the way he played, did you get what you wanted out of him tonight?”

Popovich did not need any time to think about an answer and relpied with:

 “Sure”

After that, silence. No further questions were asked.
