Fan Released Clip Of Westbrook Slapping Phone Out Of His Hand

During Friday night’s Game 6 against the Utah Jazz, Russell Westbrook gave his all to save OKC’s season, but his 46 points weren’t enough. The Thunder’s season had ended and Russell Westbrook, who is as competitive as they come, was more than angry and mad about it, resulting in two confrontations with Jazz fans.

In one of the altercations, Westbrook slapped the phone out of a filming fan’s hand. After the game, Westbrook put all blame on the Jazz fans saying:

“I didn’t confront fans; fans confronted me. Here in Utah, man, a lot of disrespectful, vulgar things are said to the players here with these fans. It’s truly disrespectful. Talk about your families, your kids. It’s truly disrespectful to the game, man.

I think it’s something that needs to be brought up. I’m tired of just going out and playing, then the fans saying whatever the hell they want to say. I’m not with that. If I was on the street, they wouldn’t just come up to me and say anything crazy, because I don’t play that sh*t. So, to disrespect me and do whatever they want to do needs to be put to a stop, especially here in Utah.”

But Jazz fan Chad Linebaugh, now shard his side of the story and released the clip taken from his camera phone. The clip reveals that he did not say anything to Westbrook, nor did he provoke him.
