The Denver Nuggets’ Twitter Account Was So Prepared For Thanksgiving

Last night, the Denver Nuggets got beat up by the Houston Rockets.

Houston came out sizzling hot and already led by 35 points at halftime. The team’s social media teams normally update their accounts with the score after each quarter. But what to do when down 35 points? Just post the result? That’s not what the Nuggets’ social media manager had in mind. Just in time for the holidays, he/she decided to add a recipe for Pumpkin Pie.

Pumpkin pie ingredients:

2 eggs
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin puree
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

The third quarter didn’t go any better for the Denver Nuggets, so the social media manager added the cooking instructions on how to mix and bake the pumpkin pie.

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 420 degrees
2. Combine eggs, pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and all spice and mix until combined
3. Pour filling into pie crust
4. Bake at 420 for 15 mins. Reduce heat to 350 bake for 35 mins or until filling is set pic.twitter.com/jg9R4kWsOe
