Avery Bradley On Playing For Three Teams In 9 Months

Less than a year ago, Avery Bradley was playing for the up-and-coming Boston Celtics. He was a fan-favorite and a key-player for the franchise. Bradley was having a career year averaging 16.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. He was one of the best defensive guards in the league on a team with a bright future. Things couldn’t have been much better for Bradley.

But then, this past offseason, Bradley, completely out of the blue, was traded to the Detroit Pistons. Unfortunately, this relationship wasn’t very successful for both parties. After playing 40 games in the Detroit, Bradley was traded again the other week. This time, to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Avery Bradley talked to the media about playing for three different teams in less than a year:

“Yeah, I mean, it’s part of the business. I don’t worry about it. You know, I went from Boston to Detroit and now I’m here. This is my focus here. And, you know, I try to control what I can control. And all I can control is going out there and playing hard and trying to get wins for the Clippers.”

One may think that it’s finally time for Bradley to have some less stressful days with some consistency, but he could be on the move again, soon. Bradley’s name is linked to some of the league’s top contenders. Both the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriros have expressed their interest in Bradley.
